Delivery & Collection

​At Hire an RV, we strive to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for our customers. Below are our terms and conditions regarding the delivery, setup, and collection of our RVs:​

1. Delivery and Setup

  • Delivery Appointment: We will coordinate with you to schedule a convenient delivery time. Upon arrival, our team will position the RV at your designated location, ensuring it is safely and appropriately situated.​

  • Connection to Services: Our staff will connect the RV to necessary services, including electricity, water, and sewage systems, as agreed.​

  • Gas Supply: The RV will be supplied with one full gas canister to power appliances such as the boiler and cooker. Should you require additional gas during your hire period, it is the customer's responsibility to source this and cover the associated costs.

  • Operational Demonstration: After setup, we will provide a comprehensive walkthrough of the RV's features and operations to ensure you are comfortable with its use.​

2. During the Hire Period

  • Customer Responsibility: Throughout the hire period, you are responsible for maintaining the RV in good and safe condition, and ensuring the interior and exterior remain clean and free from damage.

3. End of Hire

  • Preparation for Collection: At the conclusion of the hire period, please remove all personal belongings and ensure the interior is clean and tidy. All waste tanks should be emptied, and the fuel and AdBlue levels should match those at the time of delivery.​

  • Collection Appointment: We will arrange a collection time with you. Our team will disconnect the RV from all services and prepare it for transport.​

  • Vehicle Inspection: A thorough inspection will be conducted upon collection to assess the condition of the RV.​

4. Security Deposit

  • Deposit Return: Provided the RV is returned in its original condition, with no damage or missing items, and all terms have been adhered to, your security deposit will be refunded in full.​

5. Additional Charges

  • Late Return: Timely collection is essential. Late returns may incur a fee of £80 per hour, as delay can impact subsequent bookings, staff time and tow vehicle time.

  • Cleaning Fee: If the RV is not returned in a clean condition, a cleaning fee may be deducted from your security deposit.​

  • Damages: Costs for any damage or missing items will be assessed and deducted from the security deposit.​

6. Cancellations

  • Policy: Should you need to cancel your booking, please refer to our cancellation policy outlined in our full terms and conditions.​

​
